This handsome original final animation drawing of Mickey Mouse was created by a Disney Studio animator in production of the animated cartoon directed by Bill Roberts, and a cel painting was made directly from it. Les Clark, one of Walt Disney's master animators known as his Nine Old Men, supervised the animation of this scene of Mickey as arrives at the ritzy hotel, tips his hat to the footman (who mutters "riff raff"), and strides into the Society Dog Show. It is an animator's extreme drawing with grid at right, and the red pencil under-drawing is undoubtedly Mr. Clark's work. The animator wrote the studio designation “178” at upper and lower right to indicate this original's place in the scene. Studio stamp "Art Props / RM20 Sc. 3B" appears at upper right.
