This expressive original hand-painted animation cel of Sir Ector was created in the Disney ink-and-paint department and photographed during the making of the animated feature based on The Once and Future King by T. H. White. Sir Ector was Wart's foster-father, and most of the film is set in his Castle of the Forest Sauvage. Studio designation “16” appears at lower right to indicate this cel's place in the scene.
